How to measure mixing into the ocean?

Ocean turbulence and its associated mixing is a key process for ocean interactions with the atmosphere, climate and the entire marine ecosystem. However, the measurement of turbulence is a very delicate measure. The TAPIOCA LMI organized a training on “How to measure mixing into the ocean?” in partnership with UFPE, FURG and UFBA in Brazil and IRD and LEGOS in France during the week of 3-6 December. Students and scientists from UFPE, FURG, UFBA from Brazil and from France, Italy, Peru, Cuba, Togo and Benin took part to this training.
