This Café Scientifique presented how technology can now be used to track the movements and behaviours of large marine organisms (including seabirds and fishermen), map areas of importance, and inform public policies to manage the use of marine spaces. She opened the debate on what future we want for our oceans: Is the sea just a new space of blue growth? Or is it possible to rethink our projects on the basis of the notion of ecological solidarity?
