The 2nd Meeting of the LMI TAPIOCA – 5th Meeting ABRAÇOS was held in the CEERMA, UFPE, Recife in November 27-29, 2018. More than 80 persons attended the meeting that was organised around three transversal sessions (see complete Programme):

Session 1: Seasonal variability of thermohaline vertical structure (stratification) and impact on ecosystem function from phytoplankton to top predators

Session 2: Offshore and inshore connection, processes at the shelf-break and hotspots

Session 3: Island effect and impact on physicochemical properties and marine life

The next TAPIOCA-ABRAÇOS meeting is scheduled in June 4-5, 2019.
