From 16 to 25 April 2018 Arnaud Bertrand, Paulo Travassos and Anne Lebourges-Dhaussy organised the second survey ‘Fish Acoustic around Fernando de Noronha’ (FAROFA2) in Fernando de Noronha. The aim was to study the distribution of fish by combining acoustic measurements and video observations. This work was coupled with GPS markings of seabirds organized by Sophie Bertrand (MAFALDA project). This survey was used to acquire data for two female thesis students (Ramilla Assunção and Julie Salvetat) and train them to acoustic techniques, which is one of the objectives of LMI TAPIOCA.
