Many members of the IJL TAPIOCA are also involved in the UE project TRIATLAS. The objective of this meeting which brought together 25 participants (UFPE, UFRPE, UFRN, IRD) was to make a balance of current and planned activities of the ‘group’ Northeast Brazil to improve coherency and stimulate interactions. These activities include research carried out specifically in the Northeast but also those carried out by the group in other regions of the Atlantic Ocean. Achievement of this meeting was the preparation of synthetic Tables summarising the activities for each TRIATLAS work package.
